The little ones and I had a fun morning together this week. We made a visit to Aw Shucks Farm!
We had never toured this farm before, but they were having a special preschool day, so we decided to check it out before it even opens to the public for the fall season!
The kids got to participate in the Little Hands Farm Tour. It was just perfect for my two!
We learned how to plant corn, saw lots of farm animals, and even got to feed some goats!
We learned about chicken eggs and got to collect our own too! The kids LOVED it (especially because we just tried fresh chicken eggs for the first time last week)!
Check out these pig's names:)
They had LOTS of bunny rabbits for us to see!
Each preschooler got to pick out a pumpkin to take home!
These were the perfect size for little hands and our guide said they were sweet pumpkins...
just perfect for pies!
They had to "pay" for their pumpkins with their "Aw Shucks Bucks" that they earned from taking care of the farm! So cute!
The kids got to enjoy a tractor ride around the farm and then spent lots of time on the playground areas!
Lot's of swings, slides, forts, and tree houses to explore!
We finished up our day with a picnic lunch and made it back just in time to pick up the big kids from school. The only thing that would have made our day better is if they were with us!
