This last week I have tried to fit in a little Spring/Easter fun!
The weather has been a bit chilly, but we made the best of it and had a great time:).
Last Friday, my sweet friend Holly invited us over to her house for their annual Egg Hunt! We enjoyed a craft, a story, lots of outside games, an (indoor) picnic lunch, and of course the EGG HUNT!
The kids had so much fun!
(Last year the weather was so warm that my kids were in shorts. This year everyone was in long sleeves and coats! Ha!)
Next up was Jake's super fun Easter party at preschool. I LOVE seeing and hearing all about the things he does in school. His Easter party was so special. They made so many cute things and had a very nice Easter lunch (ham, mac and cheese, fruit, carrots, and "bunny bread"), but my picky little eater ate nothing but the "bunny bread". Ugh.
Then all the kids headed outside to the playground for their egg hunt!
Jake came home loaded down with lots of treats:)!
(He also informed his teacher that he doesn't want to be called Jacob at school anymore, but Jake. Ha!)
Yesterday the sun was finally shining again, so I decided to get out for a bit with the kids.
We took a trip to downtown Matthews to see the baby chicks!
And finally, we made a few Easter treats. We made "Bunny Bait" for the kid's teachers at school. It was so easy and very cute:)
And we made these cute carrot cookies for our family Easter gathering tomorrow!
