Aaargh Matey...

After a super fun week at Superhero Camp a few weeks ago, Jake wanted to go back for more!
This time he had an absolute blast at Pirate Camp!

My Little Pirate...

He had a great time singing pirate songs and reading pirate books.
He made a eye patch and a pirate hat and of course every pirate needs a parrot:)
He also learned a few cute pirate jokes!
The mornings we dropped Jake off, I took the little ones out for a few errands.
But, boy, did this little girl miss her big brother again though...

She was always thrilled to go back and pick him up!

Another great summer camp week for sure!

Another Terrific Tuesday:)

Yesterday was another Terrific Tuesday at ImaginOn!

I met my sister there and all the cousins (minus Parker, he stayed with my mom) for a fun afternoon.
Yesterday we were able to see "The Grey Seal Puppets".
It was a pirate puppet show, which I knew Jake would love:)
We had so much fun together watching the show and playing in the library!

Anytime with cousins is a GREAT time!

The Go Fish Guys Concert

This past Friday night Matt and I took the kids to see the Go Fish Guys!
I was so excited to hear that they were coming to a church in our area!

We only have one of their cd's, but it plays over and over and over in our car! Ha!
We all have our favorite songs to listen to!
They said one of the biggest ways they get their name out there is through "mom blogs".
So here I am doing my part! If you have kids, go get one of their cd's!
You will not be disappointed!
It is so neat to see our kids get so excited about worship!
What a fun night we had together!

Fun Time in the Summer Time!

Yesterday morning my MOM's group had a water play/story time playdate.
I thought that sounded pretty fun, so the kids and I went.
We had so much fun! We met new friends and had a great time playing in her big shady backyard!

She had a water table set up, a kiddie pool for the kids to play in, a sandbox, and lots of water balloons:) Plenty of things to keep all the little ones busy!
Parker was there too, but I didn't get a good picture of him. He mostly slept in his seat the entire time:) He really didn't even know we were there! Ha!

And I am SO VERY EXCITED because tonight Matt and I are taking Jake and Sissy to see these guys...

We LOVE their music and can't wait to hear them in concert tonight!
We can't wait to spend a FUN Friday night together!

Just A Morning At The Pool

We were on the go for most of the day yesterday, so today we stayed close to home.
Off to the pool we went for a fun morning of swimming!

My two silly fish...
Sweet Parker enjoyed a dip in the pool before falling asleep in the water.
I put him back in his stroller and he took a good nap while the big kids and I swam!
Now we are back at home and everyone is napping!
A good morning for sure!

Music and Magic Shows

Today I had a full day of fun planned for my kids!
Our local library hosted kids musician Roger Day, for a morning full of super fun music!
I had never heard of him before, but my mom's group was going, so I thought we would go along too!
He was great! The kids LOVED him! Our favorite songs were
"Mosquito Burrito", "It's a No No to Kiss a Rhino", and "Sara Bellum".
He encouraged the kids to read all they can this summer,
which is something we LOVE to do around our house!

After several fun songs, the kids did the limbo to a song, and then he pulled out the parachute!
Oh what fun!

Jake and Sissy had so much fun at the library, but we had another stop planned for the day.

We had to wrap up quickly there and head down to one of our favorite places...

Throughout the summer ImaginOn hosts something called "Terrific Tuesdays".
We had never been to one of these special days, but heard about them through my mom's group.
They are very hard to get tickets to, but I got them for this week and we were so very excited.
This weeks show was a magic show starring Professor Whizzpop!

We enjoyed his humor and magic tricks and then visited in the library for a bit of playing.
Of course Jake went right to the computers...

And Sis found a few things that she enjoyed:)

I love my sweet three and was thrilled to spend a day of summer time fun with them:)

It's A Bird, It's A Plane...

Nope, it's Superhero Jake!!!

This week Jake participated in superhero camp!
I have been looking for some fun things to do this summer to keep him busy and I found this cute camp for him to go to.
It was only Tuesday and Thursday mornings which was perfect for him.
This was the first time I have ever dropped him off somewhere and left.
He was a bit unsure and was a little hesitant, but I really wanted him to go and have fun!
All of his buddies these days are very much into superheros, so I knew he would have a blast.

They had so much fun each day fighting off bad guys:), making superhero capes and shields, having snack, reading books, singing songs, playing games, and having free time in the gym!

It was kind of nice to have some special time with just these two while big brother was at camp...

Sissy missed her big brother though.
She would walk around the house looking for him and would call his name:)
She couldn't wait to pick him up!

They are having a pirate camp in a couple of weeks,
which is another one of his favorite things these days!
Maybe we can work it out for him to go again for another fun week!

Parker's 2 Month Check Up

Yesterday I took this sweet boy for his 2 month check up...

I was NOT looking forward to this visit because I knew shots were apart of it.
Oh, shots make me so sad:(

The nurse came in first to get his weight, height, and head measurement.

He is a big boy and weighed in at 16lbs. 8oz. (99%).
He is 24" long (86%) and his head circumference is 16 1/4 (81%).

I am thankful for a strong and healthy boy!

Next, the doctor came in. She checked him all out and everything looked good!
No problems here:)

She asked me questions about his eating and sleeping habits. She also asked how he was about holding his head up, gripping my fingers, and looking at and following objects.
She was very pleased with how he is doing!

He did fine with his shots too. He got 3 in his legs and 1 he took by mouth. He cried for a second, but I squeezed him tight and loved on him all afternoon. I knew his little legs were sore:( Poor baby!
Next check up is at 4 months!

Love my BIG BUBBA!

Sunday Smiles

These pics are not the best because they were taken using my phone, but I wanted to remember some of Parker's first smiles!
He was extra happy today and kept giving them to us:)
LOVE a smiley baby:)

Parker Is 2 Months

Today my sweet baby boy is 2 months old!
He is my little love and I could just squeeze him all the time!

We go to the doctor on Monday so I will find out his official stats then,
but I know he is growing big and strong!

Parker is a good eater for sure:). He eats 6 ounces every 3 hours or so.

He is just an OK sleeper during the day. Some days he will give me a few good naps and then other days I just get cat naps. At night he does great. He usually gives me good 4 hour stretches, but I have gotten a few 5 hour stretches too.
He still just eats, we change him, and then he goes right back to sleep!

He can still be a little fussy during the day and is most content when someone is holding him.
That is sometimes hard to do with three little ones though:)

He is wearing a few of his 0-3 month clothes still, but mostly wears 3-6 month now.

He smiles so easily these days! I just LOVE it! It is fun to see Jake try to get him to smile too:)
Last night I even heard a few giggle gurgles!

He is very alert these days and does pretty good with just going with the flow.
I have gotten better at taking all 3 kids out. We mainly go to the pool during the morning hours. Most mornings he will just sleep in his stroller, but the last few times we have gone, he has taken a little dip too! He seems to enjoy the water and since the water is so warm he sometimes falls asleep while I am holding him:)

People still comment on his red hair! We found out that both Matt and I have some red hair on both sides of our families so, I guess that's where it comes from. His eyes are still blue and he still has one little dimple on his right

Daddy says you look like your big brother, but everyone else thinks you favor Brooklyn.
I happen to agree with them:)

You are so precious to us and we are so thankful for you sweet boy!

I love you Parker James!
Happy 2 Month Birthday!

Let Freedom Ring!!!

This past Wednesday we celebrated the 4th of favorite holiday!
We celebrated the same way we do every year starting out at our little towns festival.
Our little town can sure put on a BIG festival! We always have so much fun!

Tuesday evening we met my sisters and my niece and nephews for a quick pizza party before we arrived at the park! Everyone ate their fill and then off we went!
We bought a few ride tickets to keep everyone happy while we were waiting for the big
fireworks show!

It was a bit hot, but ended up being a decent temperature by dark!

Parker's first July 4th!

Sissy had a great view and an even better ride around the festival!

Some of the gang...

I wasn't sure how Sissy would do with the fireworks. She has started to be very scared of loud noises and runs to find Matt or I when she hears one. She ended sitting close to Matt and I and did pretty good!

Enjoying the fireworks with my little firecrackers:)

After a late night we were up early Wednesday morning for the parade!

I tried to keep the little ones as cool as possible, so we found a nice spot in the shade.

Sophie and Al...

Sissy waving at the floats that passed by...

We usually just have Corban and Riley with us, but this year we added Sophie and Hudson too!
It was a crowd for sure, but lots of fun:)!

Jake and Riley enjoying the parade...

After the parade we came back home to straighten up the house a little and to get a nap.
We were all exhausted!

Later on in the afternoon we headed to my parents for dinner and swimming!

Matt's parents joined us again this year too.

It is so nice that my parents have a pool. Everyone LOVES to swim!

Sissy having fun on the float!

Cooling off...

While the big kids swam, Grandma kept Parker company!

And of course there were plenty of games of corn hole going on!

We had a great 4th celebrating our freedom and giving thanks to those who fought for it!

Happy 4th of July!
