This week has been pretty ordinary for us. We started off by going to the bookstore at the mall for story and snack time. My MOM's group was going, so I thought it would be fun to go too. I was a little nervous about taking the kids to the mall, but they actually did great. Jake was even spotted by the "mall police" because of his good behavior and was sent to the mall's treasure box to get a prize! I was so proud of him! We are working REALLY hard these days on making good choices:)
Look at my BIG girl!
Brooklyn had been so funny lately. She has learned to wink. Ha! She does it with both of her eyes and is just so stinkin' cute when she does it. She does it the most for her daddy:). She also waves at everyone and she does it ALL. THE. TIME! Ha! She is also done with her bottles! Yay! I am so happy I get a little break from all the washing:) I also put a pillow in her bed the other night. My mom made her a pillow case for Christmas so she loves to sleep on it! I can't believe she will be a BIG sister pretty soon!
Today I had my regularly scheduled baby appointment. I took both kids with me so I was praying that I wouldn't have to wait long and that they would be good! I packed all sorts of snacks, books, and games just in case:). They were actually very good and we didn't have to wait long at all! Brooklyn actually cried when we got called back and the nurse came in. I think she thought that they were going to check her! She cried again when the doctor came in, so I had to hold her while I laid on the table. Bless her heart:(.
Everything looks GREAT with Baby Boy! I will be 23 weeks tomorrow! I heard his heartbeat loud and clear, which I LOVE. The doctor said that it sounded fantastic! He also said I was growing:) I guess that's a good thing! He asked me if I am feeling lots of movement, which I am! I love to feel him move. Matt still hasn't felt him on the outside. Hopefully he will soon though. My next visit is in 4 weeks. This will be my glucose test and our 3D ultrasound! That should be a fun visit!
These last few weeks Matt and I have had a lot on our hearts! We have been praying very specifically about some BIG things. We have been praying and seeking out what the Lord might have for us. We are still waiting on some things to unfold, but can't wait to see how the Lord will work. I wanted to blog a little about it so I can look back and see God's hand in this situation. We are trusting, relying, hoping, and waiting! We are fully depending on Him to reveal his plan to us and we can't wait!

We have all been challenged to chronologically read through the entire Bible. We will be going through the entire Bible verse by verse. I have read through the Bible once before and I am ready to do it again!

I also started a new Bible study to do on my own. It is called "Vertically Inclined" and is written by Mary Kassian. I finished up another one of her studies right before Christmas and decided to spend my Christmas money on another one of hers. I really enjoyed the last one I did on the names of God.

They have finally started the IVF process and things are looking GREAT! I received a note from her yesterday and they seemed very hopeful that things will work.
Please pray for them!
We are also praying for a family that is apart of the school I taught at. I don't know all the details, but I do know that the mom's cancer has returned and the situation does not look good. She has 2 young boys. I can't imagine what they are going through.
Please pray for them as well!

Excited to see what God has planned for you guys. My goal for this year to read the Bible. I found a reading plan on line and it moves around. I hoping this will work since I can never seem to stick straight through. Good luck with that.
