The Sweetest 1st Birthday Celebration!!!

Wednesday night our family and a few of our close friends gathered to celebrate this sweet birthday girl...

Brooklyn turned 1 year old so we decided to do a sock monkey themed party. Her sock monkey is "Ruby" and is pretty special to her.

We kept it pretty simple by having lots of red and pink! We just did desserts and a few treats. We had pink sock monkey cupcakes, strawberry trifle, kissed pretzel cookies, and white cheddar popcorn.

After everyone snacked a bit, we brought out Brooklyn's birthday cake on our special birthday plate...

"Happy Birthday to YOU!"

Mommy and Daddy were so excited to celebrate YOU on your special day!

Next up was present time!

Brooklyn was blessed with soooo many great things! Lots of baby dolls, clothes, sweet pajamas, a stroller, a baby doll crib and high chair, and fun toys for outside:)

Happy Birthday, Sisssy. While your day was everything I wanted it to be, a part of me was sad because it means you are growing up! I can't believe you are one now! Daddy and I want you to know how much we love you and how thankful we are for you! You are so precious to us and we can't wait to see what this next year holds for you!
