My Kids This Christmas

There are a few things that my kids are doing this Christmas season that I don't want to forget. I want to be sure that I blog about them so I can look back in several years and laugh at their Christmas cuteness:)

Jake is really enjoying all the Christmas activities that we have done so far this season! He loves to listen to his Christmas CD in the car every time we are driving around. His favorite is "Away In A Manger", but "Jingle Bells" is a close second. I always get the giggles because he always asks me who "Miss Fanny Bright" is and who "Miss Fortune" is. I try to explain that misfortune is not a person, but he doesn't get it:)

We have also talked a lot about the Christmas story. We sing songs, read books, and even took him to the live nativity this year. Every night when we tuck him into bed he ALWAYS asks us if he can be a shepherd boy. He wants us to take one of his blankets and wrap it around his head just like he has seen the shepherd wear.

Brooklyn has been pretty funny too. She has two favorite things this year. She LOVES to spy our Elf on the Shelf, Troy. Every morning we say, "Sissy, where's Troy?" and she just grins, giggles, and points at wherever he is hiding. She gets soooo excited when she finds him!

She also LOVES her advent calendar. Well, let me rephrase that. She LOVES the chocolate that comes inside her advent calendar. Matt does this with the kids every morning. If you tell her to come do her calendar she runs to the kitchen. Even throughout the day she will point to her calendar because she wants more! Ha!

I love these two more than anything!

Hard to believe that we will have another baby with us next year!
