Weekend Wrap-Up

We had a great weekend just hanging out together and doing some fun things here and there. Friday night Matt went to a big rival football game so I asked my sister Kelly to meet me so we could do a little shopping. I really needed some new fall clothes so we decided that it would be a great night to do it. Saturday I was still in the shopping mood and I had just so happened to find a $100.00 Belks gift card that I hadn't spent from our wedding! So Matt, Jake, and I loaded up to see what we could find. I didn't really see anything for myself, but I did find several things for Jake. All of his clothes were 40% off plus an extra 20%! He got some really cute Christmas things. I couldn't resist these sweet, plaid jammies...

My plan was to save them so that he could wear them for Christmas, but I put them on him the other night and oh, he looked so sweet and like such a big boy!

Saturday night Matt and I went to supper at one of our favorite places...FATZ! We ran to Target afterwards to take a look around. You see, Matt has ALWAYS wanted a popcorn maker. We have looked all around for the kind he wanted, but we could never seem to find one under $100, and I am NOT spending $100 on a popcorn maker. But it must have been his lucky night because he found one at Target for $30.00. This was a much better price to pay. So we came home and made homemade popcorn. It was really neat to see it popping and it ended up being very tasty!

Sunday was busy with church and family birthdays! We celebrated all of the October and November birthdays with my family.

My sister Allison was one of the birthday girls! She turned into a teenager this year!

Riley wanted to get to all of the candles so he could lick the extra icing off! He doesn't need anymore though, he is sweet enough!
