Up...Up...And Away!

This past Sunday I got to do something that I had never done before. As we were driving home from celebrating all those family birthdays, we were just getting ready to pull into our neighborhood and we see this gigantic hot air balloon! They were giving free rides to anyone that wanted to go. I really wanted to go, but it took Matt a little convincing. We didn't go all the way up into the air, but we were able to ride a good ways up!

They tried to get Jake to wear these earphones because when the fire goes up into the balloon it is pretty loud. Of course he wanted nothing to do with them...and he cried every time the fire went off.
Needless to say we arrived back on the ground safe and sound! I can now say that I have been on a hot air balloon ride! Pretty cool!
